For ~6 months I worked as an on-site copywriter for UCLA Communications where I supported the marketing and editorial needs of the university. Writing fundraising articles, with a storytelling bent, was the bulk of my work—like this piece about the tropical research center.
Whether for marketing, money-making, or just plain entertainment, I love finding nuggets of interest in a story. Plus, I’m a bird-nerd, so this one made me fly.
